Does Big Walk Have Local Multiplayer or Split Screen?
Big Walk is documented as an online co-op game for 2 to 12 players. Check the current evidence for couch co-op, split screen, and LAN play.
No confirmed local co-op mode
The official Big Walk FAQ describes online hosting, platform friends, Join Codes, and crossplay, but it does not announce couch co-op or split screen. Co-Optimus currently lists local co-op, combined local-and-online play, and LAN play as not supported for the PC version.
Plan for one device per player
Until House House announces otherwise, organize your group around one supported system and one game connection per player. The supported platforms are Windows, macOS, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Why playing in one room may be awkward
Communication restrictions are part of the game design. The official FAQ even recommends avoiding out-of-game communication where possible, including hearing another player in the same physical room. In-game voice and text can change with distance or environmental barriers.
That makes a traditional couch setup a poor match for the intended experience even apart from the lack of a confirmed split-screen mode.
What to verify after launch
Platform features can change, so recheck the official FAQ and your store listing before purchase. Treat community requests for split screen as requests, not proof that the feature exists.
